SkyForge LLC operates Funder Finder and is the data controller for personal information collected through this site: we decide why and how it is used. Contact: Support@Skyforgellc.net.

What we collect and why

• Email address — to deliver and identify your report and respond to you. Basis: performing our contract with you.
• Search details (cause areas, state, ZIP code, budget band, organization name if entered) — to produce your preview and report. Basis: contract.
• Order records (order and transaction references, amount, date, country) — for accounting, tax, refunds and fraud prevention. Basis: legal obligation and legitimate interests.
• Technical data (IP address, browser and device information, logs) — to run, secure and fix the site and prevent abuse. Basis: legitimate interests.
• Messages you send us — to provide support. Basis: legitimate interests.

Card and payment details are collected by Paddle, not by us. We do not sell personal information and do not use it for advertising profiles. Foundation data in reports comes from public IRS filings.

Who we share it with

• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale, payment processing, tax compliance, invoicing and refunds.
• Service providers that host and operate the site and database for us, under confidentiality obligations.
• Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants.
• Authorities where required by law, or to protect our rights, users or the public.
• A buyer or successor in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

How long we keep it

Purchased reports and order records are kept for as long as needed to provide access and to meet tax and accounting obligations (generally up to seven years). Preview searches and logs are kept only as long as needed for operation and security. Afterward data is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to use of your information, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw consent. Email Support@Skyforgellc.net; we respond within one month and may need to verify your identity. We may keep information we are legally required to retain. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. Residents of the UK/EEA: your information is processed in the United States, and where required we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections, restricted access controls and private, hard-to-guess report links. No system is perfectly secure; keep your report link private.

Cookies and local storage

We use only essential storage: to remember your appearance setting and to keep staff signed in. Paddle's checkout may set cookies needed to process payment. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear stored data in your browser settings.

Children

The service is for organizations and adults, not children under 18.

We may update this notice; the date above shows the latest version.
